The Trenton Street Levee has been completed as a beautiful landmark for our area. With astounding help from our community, we were able to repaint the levee wall to represent some of the things that our community feels to be beautiful about our city. The one mile mural showcases imagery of Hope, Love, Community, Faith, Friendships, Leadership and many others all through the eyes of our future leaders, our children.
One Mile of Love started out as a community outreach project. We reached out to each elementary and middle school in the greater West Monroe area to help us create the images for the mural.
